Things Francis needs to improve on:
- Post more videos.
- Nothing else.
For those who don’t know, Francis Bourgeois is famous for filming his enthusiastic behaviour around England’s famous locomotive scene.
He is known for attaching either a GoPro or 360-degree camera to his forehead and capturing his reaction to trains flying past and posting them to social media, particularly TikTok.
There’s even more of a reaction when the train driver tones their horn. A practice that is becoming more common the more famous he becomes.
He boasts more than 2.3 million TikTok followers and has even been trainspotting with the likes of Joe Jonas.
Growing up, Francis hid his love for trains in order to fit in.
His choice to break free from the pressures of social norms constricting younger generations is one of bravest moves I’ve seen.
He has even caught the attention of Gucci, where he recently modelled a Gucci cross North face jacket.
Francis also captured his time in Milan, front row at a Gucci fashion show.
Moral of the story, if you have a niche hobby that your mates think is weird, don’t worry about them. If it doesn’t hurt anyone, then go for it.
